LAVAUX

A unique terraced wine-growing landscape

Between Lausanne and Chillon, Lavaux overlooks Lake Geneva. The sun exposure, the reflection of light on the lake, and the heat stored in the stone walls create wines with a unique, structured, and persistent profile.

Saint-Saphorin, the heart of our region

Located on the terraces of Lavaux, Saint-Saphorin is one of the most emblematic wine-growing villages in the canton of Vaud. Facing Lake Geneva and protected by its stone walls, the vineyard benefits from generous sunshine, the reflection of the lake, and the heat stored by the terraces.

This unique setting gives the wines their very particular and unique identity: fresh, structured, and elegant, with mineral depth, subtle richness, and notes that may evoke almond, honey, and slightly toasted aromas.

For Francey Vins, Saint-Saphorin is not just a simple appellation. It is the landscape, the climate, and the heritage that shape the character of the domain's wines.
