Explore our vineyards after sunset for one of the most unique wine experiences in Lavaux.
La Nuit des Capites invites you to discover our terraced vineyards and traditional stone huts in a magical nocturnal setting, specially lit for the occasion.


Your evening begins at the Francey Vins cellar in Chexbres, where we will welcome you before a guided walk through the vineyards. Along the way, you will stop at our "capites" for gourmet breaks and tastings in an intimate candlelit atmosphere.

You will enjoy a carefully curated tasting of 5 St-Saphorin wines, accompanied by generous local specialties from the region, including Gruyère cheese, Vaud sausage, fresh bread, and seasonal delicacies. The experience combines nature, terroir, hospitality, and storytelling into an unforgettable night above Lake Geneva.

Everything you need to know before booking

Schedule and Duration
Departure is at 7:30 PM from Francey Vins winery in Chexbres, with a return around 12:00 AM to the same location.
Total duration: approximately 4h30.

Walking Route
The walk is about 2 km round trip (approximately 45 minutes of total walking) through the vineyard paths.

What's Included
Each participant receives a complete tasting kit, including:

  • 3 half bottles of St-Saphorin wine
  • 1 unbreakable wine glass
  • 1 tasting board and 1 knife
  • 100 g of Gruyère cheese (Haut-Jorat)
  • 1 Vaudois sausage (approximately 100 g)
  • 1 tote bag
  • 1 mineral water
    Plus bread, "flûtes" from Chexbres bakery, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Weather Policy
The event runs in most weather conditions and is only cancelled in the event of heavy rain.
Should the event be cancelled due to adverse weather, guests are either refunded or transferred to an alternative date.

Important
Good walking shoes with grip are essential, along with weather-appropriate clothing and adequate fitness for vineyard terrain.
