Since 1384

Heritage

The estate has belonged to the same family since 1384, initially under the name Barbey. The cellar is located in the village of Chexbres, while the 3 hectares of vines are spread across the terraced hillsides of Saint-Saphorin, in the heart of Lavaux.

Today

Christophe Francey has been managing the estate since 2001. From vineyard work to winemaking, every step is handled on-site with a small team.

Visitors are welcome all year round to discover the wines and the estate.

Lavaux & Local Produce

The terraced vineyards of Lavaux are a UNESCO World Heritage site. The vines benefit from a microclimate shaped by what locals call the "three suns": direct sunlight, its reflection on Lake Geneva, and the heat stored in the stone terrace walls. This is what defines the character of our Saint-Saphorin wines.

Wine tourism

Our wines are the fruit of the unique combination of sun, lake, and stone that makes Lavaux an incomparable place on earth.
